Webmaster Guru shares some secrets

Today I stumbled on one very interesting website that I’d say is one of a kind. The weblog of a web experienced website developer in which he shares some interesting insights that most of us don’t really know and can only be found in the big books on pro web development. The I’m Web Guru website covers topics that are somehow basic but essential in bringing visitor traffic on your new website and converting it to actual clients. Check out what I’ve found.

Most interesting I’ve found the chapter/post on How to list your website on the Search Engines and start receiving visitors which is part of a series of topics. In this post the webmaster is sharing some tips and tricks how to make your website get indexed in the search engines and bring some immediate traffic by carefully crafting your websites to be Search Engine Friendly and therefore list on good positions for keywords in your particular niche/topic. He also talks about the importance of website links and quality original content for top search engine rankings.

The second interesting thing that made me really interested was his topic on choosing website keywords and content layout for SEO that most webmasters simply miss due to ignorance. I don’t know if you were aware that if you have your article/content first then the menu you can obtain better search engine rankings due to higher keyword purity (actually I kind’a suspected that but never actually got it proven). The coverage on keywords is also another really interesting addition to the content since it all SEO and Webmaster books this is left to percentage around 5%-10% which is totally wrong due to difference in niches and such, and the tool that he describes is first of all quite good authority that that’s real search engine ranking criteria (atleast for Google I’d say).

Anyway the website is so short that you can read it within an hour or less and learn tons of new stuff that experienced developers had been learning during the years. I already tested some of these techniques in my own websites and I’m pretty happy to say that they do work, but it’s a lot of work as you might imagine. Although I don’t have the that much time to spend on my websites to build high quality content, I’m trying to do my best and I’d suggest you try the same and you’ll see it will work out great for you too.
