Find a good company providing chauffeur driven cars
As the PA to a very demanding and particular new boss, being given the task of finding a new company to provide us with chauffeur driven cars was not a task to be relished, however onwards and upwards.
I started by searching on the internet and came across the Chauffeur Cars & Limousine Directory, from here I was able to easily find a list of local companies. The first test I put them through was to see how fast they would respond to my email request or their online form. Of the 12 companies I used, one telephone, one responded within 20 minutes and two the following day, so 8 did not even bother.
I then called 3 of these 4 companies, asked plenty of questions about the age of their cars, size of their fleet, attire of the chauffeurs and whether or not they offered account facilities.
One really impressed, a company called Cars for Stars, not only did they have an office in London, which is where we are based, but they also had a franchised branch network, which meant we could use the same company virtually anywhere in the UK. I found them friendly, attentive and flexible and was not surprised to find that they were actually the current holders of the prestigious ‘Operator of the Year’ awards provided by the respected European Limousine & Chauffeur Show.
We have now been using Cars for Stars for 4 months for our chauffeur cars and we cannot fault them. So, don’t take my word for it, if you want to put a chauffeur company to the test, find out how long it takes them to respond to email enquiries, how long to answer the phone and how efficient they are when you manage to speak to someone.
