Nokia: New Musicphone / Smartphone N-Series
The first range of Nokia N has not even finished its commercial launch that the Finnish firm already presents its complement, or its successor, it no longer really knows. Today’s menu, it is the N71, N82 and N92, which are revealed to us, each with serious arguments.
The first mobile GPS for Europe, Nokia has more than one QVGA screen with a size of 2.6 inches, with an infrared port, a USB 2.0 port, a digital camera of 5 Megapixels, a TV output, an FM tuner, a port MicroSD memory card and an amount of internal memory of 160MB. The digital camera of 5 Megapixels (zoom 10x), the Nokia N95 can be used via two keys dedicated and is equipped with a Carl Zeiss optics to record images but also videos with a quality DVD.
For the rest, the Nokia N95 will be shipped with the “Maps” online mapping (more than 110 countries are available), with a database of points of interest and will be shipped with a software-assisted GPS navigation available in that option will probably be proposed by gate5, a company it acquired recently by Nokia. Regarding its multimedia features readings of digital music or videos, the N95 is compatible with audio formats MP3, AAC, AAC + and WMA or video formats 3GP, Real Video and MP4 (AVC codec).
With its series N, Nokia offers a new range of computers and multimedia experiences. All devices in this series have served as capture images and movies, in addition to a high-speed Internet access. It is actually convergence devices, a product category which had 53 million units in 2006.
In parallel announcements of new Smartphone N-Series the mark with the N95 and N75, Nokia has also planned to update its range of Musicphone N70, N73 and N91 in Symbian by adding functionality to listen to music digital.
The N82 has a WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. The smartphone comes with the new menu multimedia 3D and a practical orientation sensor that displays the user interface in landscape or portrait mode.
The N80, finally, it also breaks new ground, since it is the first cell phone compatible UPnP (Universal Plug n Play). Quadband GSM with EDGE support, it will thus be widely distributed throughout the world.
