Life insurance is now quick and easy at the Post Office

The Post Office is now offering life insurance as a new addition to its financial services range. The new product is tailored to meet the needs of the over 50’s. It is easy to apply for and all applicants aged between 50 and 80 years are guaranteed to be approved.

To get a quote only basic information is required. This includes the applicant’s name, choice of premium, gender and date of birth. No medical details are requested. Premiums range from £7 up to £50 a month and will reflect the level of cover chosen.

As an incentive, a free gift is offered to all customers on payment of their third monthly instalment. At this time, the insured can choose to receive a complimentary free-view box, digital camera or box of wine. The Post Office claim their new policy offers more all-inclusive cover to that of some leading competitors in the market, because the full sum assured may be paid out after only one year.

Most people will seek a life insurance policy to guarantee the well being of their dependants, should they meet an early death. Such a policy will payout upon death of the insured to ensure the remaining family members can maintain their lifestyle, including affording their mortgage repayments.

Now, with increasing mortgage rates the importance of insuring your life and mortgage is even greater. The new over 50’s policy is said to be the first of a range of life insurance products that the Post Office are planning to launch. To apply, contact one of the Post Office’s 4,000 nationwide branches.
