Key West Vacation
Key West is located at the southern most point of the United States and is home to wide variety of key west activities. There are numerous tourist attractions on the island such as bars, museums parks and beaches. For the more adventurous you can dive key west, there are numerous scuba diving sites located a short distance off shore from Key West. There is also fort jefferson and the dry Tortugas located 70 miles west of Key west. This will require riding on a ferry into the gulf of Mexico. This fort has existed since before the civil war and has help prisons such as Abraham Lincoln’s killer’s accomplice. It is surrounded with coral reefs and has some great snorkeling right from shore. You can camp on the island , over night but there is no water that is why it is called the “dry Tortugas” .
